1) What are the minimum PC system requirements for the Make Reading Fun!™ program?

The minimum system requirements for an IBM or IBM-compatible computer are as follows:

Pentium 166 (and equivalent)
16 MB RAM
Windows 95/98
Sound Card
Video Card (that supports 256 colors and 720 x 480 Screen Resolution)
8x CD-ROM drive
Web Browser (optional, but recommended*)

*The Web Browser option accesses the Acrobat printable activities menu (with instructions for viewing and printing at fine resolution for cleanest copy).

2) What are the optimal PC system requirements for the Make Reading Fun!™ program?

The optimal system requirements for an IBM or IBM-compatible computer are as follows:

Pentium 233 (and equivalent or better)
32 MB RAM (or better)
Windows 95/98
Sound Card
Video Card (that supports 24 bit True Color and 800 x 600 Screen resolution)
32x CD-ROM drive (or faster)
Internet Explorer 5.0 (optional, but recommended*)

*The Web Browser option accesses the Acrobat printable activities menu (with instructions for viewing and printing at fine resolution for cleanest copy).

3) What are the minimum system requirements for a Mac to run Make Reading Fun!™?

The minimum system requirements for a Mac are as follows:

Power Mac
16 MB RAM
Mac OS 7.5.1 or higher
CD-ROM drive
Web Browser (optional, but recommended*)

*The Web Browser option:
a) accesses the Acrobat printable activities menu (with instructions for viewing and printing at fine resolution for cleanest copy).
b) accesses the QuickTime videos menu with instructions for viewing.

4) Will the Make Reading Fun!™ program run on Windows 3.1?

Make Reading Fun!™ has not been tested on Windows 3.1; it may operate with adequate memory and hard-drive space and a fast enough CD drive.

5) Will the Make Reading Fun!™ program run on Windows NT?

Make Reading Fun!™ has been tested on a computer running Windows NT 4.0. The only problem with the software was that it did not auto-run and had to be manually started via the StartPC file.

Make Reading Fun!™ was not tested on any version of NT other than 4.0 and may or may not operate outside the 4.0 version.
